On the occasion of the celebration of the national day of the Chahid which coincides with February 18 of each year, a symbolic ceremony took place at the level of the Embassy.
After the raising of the colors of the national flag and the intonation of the national anthem as well as the recitation of the “Fatiha”, the Ambassador delivered a short speech in memory of our brave Chouhadas, in the presence of the members of the diplomatic mission:
In the name of God the Clement the Merciful.
Peace be upon the Prophet Muhammad, blessings and peace be upon him.
Under the slogan “The Message of the Martyrs… Loyalty… Construction”
We celebrate on this day in a symbolic way, the National Day of Chahid, which coincides with February
18 of each year.
Today we celebrate the National Chahid Day and how great is the Chahid and how great are the Algerian Chouhadas.
Men of pure clay who decided on November 1, 1954 to sacrifice their lives and everything dear to them for Algeria to be liberated and for them to live with dignity and honor after 132 years of colonialism.
I say heroes who thanked to their indomitable steely determination, were able to put the Algerian nation and the pillars of the Algerian State back on the international scene after French colonialism tried to erase the personality of the Algerian people and to eliminate its components which are based on a course engraved in history.
As you know, National Martyrs Day is an important milestone to remember the struggle of our people. We, our children and the rising generations, must always remember the sacrifices of our martyrs who have forever raised the prestige and pride of Algeria, because they preferred to die so that Algeria might live and that we might live. ´. In truth, they are not dead:
In the name of God the Clement the Merciful.
“And do not think that those who were killed for the cause of God are died but they are alive with God, receiving their reward.”
Glory and eternity to our Chouhadas.
Long live Algeria.
