On Martyrs’ Day, which falls on February 18 each year, the Algerian Embassy in Dhaka, under the supervision of His Excellency Ambassador Saïdani Abdelwahab, commemorated the heroes who sacrificed their lives so that Algeria could enjoy freedom and independence.
The ceremony began with the raising of the national flag and the recitation of the opening chapter of the Holy Quran in memory of the souls of the righteous martyrs, followed by a minute of silence in tribute to their eternal sacrifices.
