The Embassy of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Dhaka informs that applications are now open for participation in the 6th edition of the President of the Republic’s Prize for Amazigh Language and Literature, organized by the High Commission for Amazighity (HCA).
The application period is open to all Algerian citizens, residing in Algeria or abroad, until November 1st, 2025.
This national prize aims to encourage scientific and intellectual creativity in the following fields:
• Linguistics
• Research in Amazigh Intangible Cultural Heritage
• Literature expressed in or translated into the Amazigh language
• Technological sciences and digitalization
Participation is open to all age groups, individually or in groups.
The winning works will be honored during the official celebration of the Amazigh New Year “Yennayer”, which will take place on January 12th, 2026.
