Dhaka, 18 July 2026 – The Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Bangladesh, Abdelouahab Saidani, visited the flood-affected areas of Satkania in Chattogram and Matarbari in Cox’s Bazar, where he personally distributed relief packages containing essential supplies to more than 400 flood-affected families. During the visit, the Ambassador conveyed the solidarity and sympathy of the Government and people of Algeria with those affected by the recent floods, while reaffirming the importance of supporting vulnerable communities during humanitarian emergencies.
