On the occasion of taking office as Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to the brotherly People’s Republic of Bangladesh, I am pleased to express my happiness and gratitude for assuming this position, which I will invest in strengthening the bonds of cooperation and friendship between the two friendly and brotherly peoples and countries.

Representing Algeria in Bangladesh is a great and sensitive responsibility because it is about embodying the values, aspirations and interests of our nation in a country with which Algeria shares the common struggle for freedom, independence and defending the values ​​of justice, equality, peace, security and supporting just causes across the globe.

The relations between Algeria and Bangladesh are strong, based on mutual respect, serious, and fruitful cooperation. I will devote also my efforts to establishing cultural and academic cooperation, which will surely contribute to strengthening further bilateral cooperation.

Indeed, Bangladesh, with its wise policy, determination to develop, grow, and thanks to its cultural diversity, represents a model of success, progress and peaceful coexistence, which makes it a pivotal and highly credible partner.

Our world today is continuing to move towards a system of blocs and exchange of interests in a context of major challenges imposed by geopolitical conflicts, climate change and economic disparities, so we must work more than ever to face these difficulties and strengthen a win-win partnership between Algeria and Bangladesh and strive to achieve a more just and equitable international order.

I seize this opportunity to express my thanks and gratitude to the high authorities and to the Government of Bangladesh for their warm welcome and close cooperation to facilitate my mission in order to achieve common goals and promote ideal bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

I also extend my warm greetings and gratitude to our dear national community in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for their tireless and sincere efforts and their valuable contribution to strengthening the bonds of cooperation, solidarity and mutual support between the two brotherly peoples.

I would also like to commend the staff of our prestigious embassy and all its employees, diplomats and employees, for their dedication to accomplishing their duties and their hard efforts to achieve the desired goals and strengthen bilateral relations in all their diplomatic, economic and cultural dimensions, and to ensure the delivery of quality services to members of our dear community as well as our brothers in Bangladesh concerning the consular services, including the granting of visas.

Finally, I would also like to congratulate my predecessors in this position who laid the basic foundations for fruitful cooperation between Algeria and Bangladesh, this brotherly, friendly and hospitable country. I will commit myself to working tirelessly and with dedication to continue these hard efforts and achieve what our two peoples aspire to in terms of progress, prosperity and looking forward to a better future.
