The members of the Algerian Embassy in Bangladesh led by the Head of Post observed on October 17, 2022 at 4 p.m. (local time), 11 a.m. (Algiers time) a moment of meditation in tribute to the memory of Algerian Chouhada, members of the national community in France, victims of sinister Maurice Papon’s police repression on October 17, 1961.

After raising the national colors, observing a minute’s silence and reciting the Fatiha, the Chief of Post pronounced a word of circumstance on this commemorative occasion, to pay strong tribute to the martyrs of the 17 October 1961.
